Last year was the most unwritten year out of all of my years on earth — and there are many of them, not even counting those years before I learned to write. The words and ‘stories’ incessantly floating in and around my head didn’t quite make it onto the virtual page here or anywhere.
My reading has suffered as well, although I’m still buying books that “I want to read someday.”
Barely reading and writing, I’m feeling a certain sense of loss — of self and of connections. But, instead of it kicking me back into gear, I go deeper, settling into my distractions.
One such distraction is a German band, Rammstein step aside (momentarily).
